Bulldog email accounts

With Bulldog, you get four email accounts each with anti-spam and anti-virus protection. You can access your email from any computer connected to the internet through the email services on Bulldog Lounge, or choose to use a standard email client instead. As well as your Bulldog email, you can also access other email services using a standard email application such as Outlook Express and your existing email address (so long as your previous provider supports this).

Your four Bulldog email accounts

All Bulldog combined broadband and phone customers get four email accounts as standard. A master account will already be set-up for you in the format "yourbdolnumber@bulldoghome.com" (or" yourbdolnumber@bulldog-office.com" for business customers). You can, of course, change your email address to one of your choosing. When you login for the first time, you'll have an opportunity to change this master account to a more memorable address.

Accessing your Bulldog emails

You can access and use your Bulldog emails through www.bulldoglounge.com. Simply click on "email" in the left hand manu and follow the onscreen instructions. If you are logging in for the first time, you'll need to customise your details. Once logged in you can manage your inbox, as well as set-up your other accounts for your friends and family. For help with this and other mail features, just click on 'help' once you've logged into your inbox.

Access your email through a standard email application

You can also access your email using a standard email application. Set-up depends on the particular application you are using, but you will normally be asked to specify the server addresses for incoming (POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) mail.
